Solar Bag Laura - 2006

This second hand bag is customized with some solar panels. Exposed to sunlight it charges a battery, which is placed inside the bag. It doesn’t only look cool but it is also a handy thing. It is suitable for charging the Mobile phone, etc.

Reflection.

Here things got scaled down and graspable. It was still an integration of renewable energy and visible, which i have had as a main point with my works. At this time in 2006 it wasn't much presented when scanning the Internet about solar bags, but it was just about to take of and pretty soon there was a number of variety's presented and nowadays its plenty.
