Knock on Wood

The visual artist Anders Bergman spent the winter at Haihatus Art Center in Joutsa and now presents his oven-fresh works in his Knock on Wood exhibition, created during his residence. In his works, Bergman has used the architectural drawings he found in Joutsa, recycled building and house materials such as the door to the old mental hospital.

Anders Bergman, born in Dalarna, Sweden, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts from 2000 to 2006, describes his own exhibition: "The exhibition is a journey through dematerialization and reconstruction that is presented in my sculptures / reliefs / painting works".
